	Death Squadron was the codename applied to Darth Vader's personal fleet of Star Destroyers Imperial-class Star Destroyer Starship Starship Models following the Battle of Yavin Battle of Yavin Event Galactic Civil War , led by the Super Star Destroyer Super-class Star Destroyer Starship Starship Models Executor Executor (Super-class Star Destroyer) Starship Named Starships . Because of it being led by the Executor, their fleet insignia also bore an image of the Executor on it. The fleet, designed to instill terror in dissidents of the Empire Galactic Empire Organization Galaxy-Wide Organizations 's New Order, was in fact tasked with locating and destroying the Rebel Alliance Rebel Alliance Organization Rebel Alliance headquarters.
